SPICED MANGO CHUTNEY

Recipe

  1. 2 ½ cups water
  2. 3 cups white sugar
  3. 1 cup cider vinegar
  4. 5 cinnamon sticks
  5. 1 tablespoon pickling spice
  6. 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  7. 1tablespoon chopped ginger
  8. 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
  9. 6 cups dried mango or green/ unripe mango, chopped

Description

  1. Place all ingredients in a large pot and bring to the boil, skim any foam from the surface.
  2. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 60 minutes or until mango is tender.
  3. Pack into hot sterilised jars and seal.
